Collection: "All Fractals" Collection

Fractal prints. Created by Bora Zrinyi.

Fractals are complex geometric shapes that can be split into parts, each of which is a reduced-scale copy of the whole. This property is known as self-similarity. Fractals are found both in mathematics and in the natural world. In mathematics, fractals are defined by recursive or iterative processes, leading to infinite complexity that can be described in finite terms. Natural examples include the branching patterns of trees and rivers, the structure of snowflakes, and coastlines. Fractals have applications in computer graphics, art, environmental science, and modeling phenomena in various scientific fields.
